Hip-Hop albums in 2013 have been successful even when faced with obstacles such as similar release dates, push-backs, early releases, and leaks. From the beginning of January, the listeners, fans, and aficionados of hip-hop have been blessed with a vast selection of albums released this year. Intentional or not, as each album seems to trump the next; there’s always a project to look forward to.

Drake -Nothing Was The Same

It’s hard to imagine just how Drake’s star power can rise anymore this year. Every other song on the radio seems to be his or at least have him on it and he’s getting back into acting (Anchor Man 2).  Nothing Was The Same will likely be another slam dunk for Drake, who’s songs “Started From The Bottom”  and “Versace” are still in heavy rotation. Drizzy’s third studio release is out September 17.

Here’s his latest track, it’s still unknown whether or not this track will be included on the album.
