Her 4th LP is now set to drop July 9th.
Though Ciara‘s first two albums, Goodies and The Evolution, seeked to solidify her place in the pop/r&b genre she so gracefully danced into, her third effort, Fantasy Ride, didn’t strike the charts as well as she probably wanted it to and 2011’s Basic Instinct never had a chance. However, with hear lead single from the album, “Body Party” (co-written by her current boyfriend Future), peaking at #1 on the Billboard R&B charts, Ciara is looking to regain her 2006 stature as one of r&b’s leading ladies. Formerly titled One Woman Army, the now self-titled LP will hit stores July 9th on Epic Records rather than June 4th.
