It’s electric
It’s been awhile since Janelle Monae‘s last album, The ArchAndroid. Now, almost three years later, she’s back with The Electric Lady. Slated for a September 10th release, this body of work features a star-studded list of features, including Prince, Erykah Badu, Solange, Miguel and Esperanza Spalding.
So far, fans have gotten a taste of Janelle’s sound with “Dance Apocalyptic,” the Erykah Badu-assisted “Q.U.E.E.N.” and Prince collaboration, “Givin Em What They Love.”

2010’s The ArchAndroid album received raved reviews. Thanks to VH1, fans get to stream the album before it hits stores and online.
