Trayvon Martin’s killer is still prospering off the teenager’s death
The Trayvon Martin tragedy continues as acquitted killer George Zimmerman has a painting up for bid that has topped $100K on the popular global bidding site eBay.
The 18 X 24 canvas oil painting reads “God, One Nation, With Liberty And Justice For All”. The bid started on Monday at $.99, but within 24 hours the bid went over the $100,000 mark with over 100 bids for the painting by the killer of unarmed teen Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida last February.
Zimmerman seems to be the poster boy for avoiding prosecution, with prosecutors refusing to charge him for a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, in which he allegedly pulled out a shotgun and pointed it at her.
Zimmerman’s brother, Robert Zimmerman confirmed that George is the artist who painted the piece. The listing says that the painting will be shipped expeditiously from Sanford, Florida upon winning the auction.
