I recently discovered a free “Introduction to Music Business” course that is being offered by EdX.

EdX offers online courses from MITx, HarvardX, BerkeleyX, and many other universities. EdX is a non-profit online initiative created by founding partners Harvard and MIT.

Their Courses are taught by talented professors, designed to be interesting and cover a variety of subjects.

The Introduction to Music Business course is being taught by John P. Kellogg, Esq., Assistant Chair of Music Business Management at Berklee College of Music, an entertainment lawyer and former vocalist with Cameo. John P. Kellogg wrote “Take Care of Your Music Business” and has been profiled in Billboard, Ebony, and Jet. Listed on Ebony magazine’s Power 150 list of African-American Organization Leaders, he is on the Board of Directors of the Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association.
