Straight and same-sex couples exchange wedding rings during the performance of “Same Love” at the Grammys
Audience members and viewers nation wide witnessed a beautiful moment of love at the 56th Grammy Awards show Sunday night.
During the performance of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis song “Same Love” featuring Mary Lambert, 33 straight and same-sex couples took their marriage vows.
In mid performance, Queen Latafiah made her way to the stage as she asked the couples to hold hands. On her command, the couples exchanged wedding rings as they embraced their partners with love and tears of joy.
As part of the ceremony Madonna joined the stage performing her classic “Open Your Heart.”
