2 Chainz is prepping his new album, B.O.A.T.S. III, and recently released a video for his street single, “A-Rod”, alongside French Montana. Unfortunately, a monkey wrench may have been thrown in those plans. 10 months ago, Chainz was arrested for possession of codeine, but no immediate developments of the case surfaced.

However, with his arraignment coming next week, its apparent that the “Used 2” rapper is facing some real jail time.
On his latest album, 2013’s B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, on a song called “Outroduction”, Chainz vaguely addressed the situation.
