2Pac has officially joined a short list of greats who’s albums have achieved diamond sales. All Eyes On Me achieved 10 million dollars in U.S. sales also known as “diamond status.” The double disc album has shipped 5 million copies this week and since double albums count as two different sale pieces the amount of copies actually doubles making 10 million. The LP featured the Hot 100 number 1 singles “How Do U Want It” and “California Love” and was released on February 13, 1996 under Death Row Records and distributed by Interscope Records.

Only a select few rap albums have achieved diamond sales, Pac’s Greatest Hits is also one of them. Other albums that have achieved this feat include: OutKast’s SpeakerBoxxx/The Love Below, Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP and Eminem Show, MC Hammer’s Please Hammer, Don’t Hurt ‘Em, and The Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death.
