Beverly Johnson Pens Essay Accusing Cosby Of Drugging, Trying To Rape Her

Legendary supermodel Beverly Johnson tells all to VF

Bill Cosby is racking up more rape allegations than speaking engagements these days, and the black cloud that has hung over his life and legacy for the past decade appears to be at its thickest here in 2014. In a long, detailed essay penned for Vanity Fair, Beverly Johnson–the first black woman to ever grace the cover of Vogue–tells the story of how Bill Cosby drugged her, and nearly raped her.

Johnson alleges the only reason Cosby didn’t succeed is because she insulted him so many times–the essay makes note of Johnson calling Cosby “motherf***er” repeatedly–so many times, he aborted his mission. According to Johnson’s essay, her encounter with Cosby began with the hospitable actor inviting her to his home to read for a part on The Cosby Show that she was auditioning for. Once inside his home, Johnson says Cosby drugged her with a spiked cappuccino and began to handle her, but the numerous cuss words she sent his way while still trying to remain lucid infuriated him. The essay then states that Cosby dragged her down the stairs, and hailed her a cab.
