Growing up on the rugged streets of Baltimore–or any of America’s inner cities–isn’t easy for anybody, and Damond Blue’s visuals for “Shorty” tells the story of many of our young people trapped in situations where they believe the only option is to become a product of their environment. The poignantly heartbreaking visual features Damond Blue sitting on a bench with a younger teen who is dealing with the adversity of growing up in a low income situation, and the choices that come with it.
