Last night was good, but awkward for the 6 man
Drake performed his first ever Coachella set last night, and the morning after, there’s much to talk about. However, aside from the fact that he was testing most of his If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late for the first time on American soil, and everyone from The Weeknd to Tyler, The Creator hung around to catch the Toronto native’s set, his sole special guest stole the night’s spotlight.
Madonna, after whom Drake named a song off IYRTITL, made a special appearance right after Drake performed the somber cut, and as he sat by the fire, the pop icon performed two of her records, “Human Nature” and “Hung Up.” Shortly after, Madonna, sporting a shirt with one of Drake’s “Madonna” lyrics emblazoned across the front–“Big as Madonna”–walked up to Drake and planted one very long, passionate kiss on his lips, something that didn’t appear to be a part of Drizzy’s plan.
