HOt 97 has been live streaming Summer Jam for several years, but this year, things will be a little different. TIDAL, the media streaming service that Jay Z and his infamous band of superstars relaunched in March, will be exclusively streaming the world’s most famous (and infamous) Hip-Hop concert. In past years, we have seen public streams on YouTube and UStream, but for the first time, a TIDAL membership is required to view the show this year.

The good news is, for those that have yet to indulge, TIDAL does have a 7-day free trial period–click here to get started with that–which will allow first-time users to see the show for free (and just not renew their subscription next Sunday), but for others, it’s time to pony up. Or you’ll have to get updates from the ‘gram.
