LeBron James Thanks Kendrick Lamar For Listening To Him

Following the Grammys, LeBron James tweeted at Kendrick Lamar, essentially begging him to release the untitled tracks the superstar rapper had been teasing fans with.

Later on, Anthony Tiffith, the CEO of Top Dawg Entertainment posted on Instagram confirming that King James was the final push towards the 8-track project untitled, unmastered seeing the light of day.

“When you get somebody like LeBron asking for them [the ‘untitled’ tracks], it’s like, ‘Alright, maybe it is bigger than we think it is,'” producer Sounwave told Complex. “That’s when Top got on the phone asking me and K. Dot to pick our favorite records. It just so happened that the songs we picked sounded like an album.”
James has been celebrating ever since, posting an Instagram video of himself enjoying the album following the release. In a new video that has surfaced over the weekend, he discusses at length how the album has motivated him and will continue to do so.
