Lil Uzi Vert enjoyed a stellar end to 2015, thanks in large part to his celebrated “WDYW” single, which has helped make his live show quite the feature film, and in 2016 he’s certainly hit the ground running. The Philadelphia rapper is working closely with revered rap groomers DJ Drama and Don Cannon on strongly following up his heralded Luv Is Rage mixtape, and in the meantime, we’ve received an enjoyable plethora of loosie bangers.

The trio glide over a slow-brooding beat from Murda Beatz, a stark contrast to the tempo we’ve grown accustomed to from Uzi Vert, but it’s just as interesting to see him operate in this medium. Uzi’s got big plans for the rest of the year, so keep an eye on one of Atlantic Records’ newest signees.
