Former pimp Ron Newt is suing Lee Daniels and Terrence Howard for stealing the story of his life to make the hit television series Empire. Newt has now taken matters into his own hands by creating his very own reality TV version of the show.
The show, appropriately titled The Newt Empire, follows his family as they work to make it in the music business. On the way, Ron sets out to repair some of the bridges he’s burned along the way.
Newt, a self proclaimed “known ghetto player,” claims the story was stolen after he pitched it to Howard when discussing his documentary Bigger Than Big. The case is still ongoing.

Newt is now ironically waiting for someone to pick up his show.
