Hilltop Hoods are a Hip Hop group from Australia that formed in Adelaide, South Australia consisting of MC Suffa, MC Pressure and DJ Debris. They released their debut album, A Matter of Time, in 1999 and have since released six studio albums, two “restrung” albums with an orchestra and three DVDs. Five of their albums have reached number one on the Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA) charts, and five singles have made it inside the Top 10.

Suffa and Pressure have proven themselves to be two of Australia’s best emcees, consistently releasing innovating Hip Hop music. DJ Debris‘ skills behind the turntables and production boards have helped place the Hilltop Hoods as one of the most influential and well-rounded Hip Hop groups to emerge from Australia. With an extensive back catalogue of music, The Hoods appeal to a wide demographic and have one of the largest fan bases in all music in Australia.

The Hilltop Hoods have collaborated extensively with Australian artists such as The Funkoars, Vents, K21, Briggs, Horrorshow, Sia, Tom Thum, Hau, Drapht and internationals including Maverick Sabre, Brother Ali, Okwerdz, Chali 2na, Black Thought of The Roots and Pharoahe Monch. After conquering the Australian market, they have toured throughout US, Canada and Europe. Founders of Golden Era Records, their label has recently released Royce Da 5’9”s new album Layers and are on their national sold out arena tour with Golden Era Records label mates A.B. Original (Briggs + Trials) and DJ Total Eclipse (X-Ecutioners) in April 2016.
