A few weeks back, Rocko took to his Instagram to announce the release of his forthcoming mixtape, Wordplay 2. A man of his word, Wordplay 2 was released on May 25. The new mixtape has features from Chief Keef, Jazze Pha, Dro, Daddy O and Love and Hip Hop star Joseline Hernandez.
For the first track of the mixtape, Rocko decides to engage listeners with the sounds of Rich Gang’s very own Rich Homie Quan for a song titled “I Swear.” Rocko’s wordplay is super strong here as he uses all metaphors to compare his lifestyle to just about every animal in the jungle. Rich Homie adds the Midas touch as he successfully delivers the hook and the second verse, making this the perfect intro to the Wordplay 2 mixtape.
Wordplay 2 is a 15-track project sure to produce a few summer anthems for 2016.
