Talk about a “glow up.” Activist, entrepreneur, philanthropist and fashionista Amber Rose is set to host the first episode of her self-named talk show on VH1 Friday, June 17 at 11pm ET/PT.
The Amber Rose Show is produced by Dr. Phil and Jay McGraw’s Stage 29 Productions and will feature Rose’s distinctive point of view and unapologetic nature.
The show will be based on conversations with guests about pop culture, parenting, relationships, friendships, race and entrepreneurship. It will also feature outspoken interviews with industry experts. It sounds like an ideal show for her 18+ million followers on social media.
Rose is known as the spokesperson for neo-feminism. Her rise to popularity is widely due to her “slut-walk” campaign. She is also the founder of The Amber Rose Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to equality and female empowerment. The Amber Rose Show will give her the opportunity to showcase her ability to speak on a wide range of topics while maintaining its entertainment aspect.
