2 Chainz and well known DJ and producer Statik Selektah have collaborated for a new release titled “Smoke Break.” Selektah uploaded the song to his Soundcloud on Friday [June 2].
Selektah couldn’t have picked a more perfect sample to set the mood of the soulful song. The flow is smooth and classic with saxophone play throughout each verse to captivate listeners into a mesmerized state.
2 Chainz is on cruise control for two full verses and a very vibrant outro, adding much style and charisma to an already sensual sound. At the end of the song, 2 Chainz describes the essence of the song perfectly by stating, “This some down South AZ type sh*t!”
