After a Red Bull Sounds concert in Denver on Wednesday [June 8] Soulja Boy took to Twitter to announce the release of his forthcoming album. Sure enough, on midnight [June 9] Soulja Boy released Better Late Than Never.
Better Late Than Never is a 15 track project with features from Young Money’s Lil Twist on a song titled “Do What I Want,” and a second feature from Lil Yachty on a song titled “Young N***a.”
In a recent interview with Genius, Soulja Boy explained his collaboration with Lil Yachty for Pretty Boy Millionaires 2 is still on the way, which will also feature Lil B. Their conflicting schedules have resulted in a delay on the completion of the project but it can be expected really soon.
Soulja Boy expressed via Twitter how hard he worked on Better Late Than Never and how he spent his own money on studio time and managed to mix and master the album himself.
