Princess Nokia just dropped an 8 minute double-feature for two tracks from her new album 1992 Deluxe. The Milah Lizin-Directed visual for “Bart Simpson/Green Line” follows the rapper through New York City, examining “the rejection and struggles of high school, the innocent debauchery of a neighborhood party, the isolation and contemplation of solo travel on public transportation, and the depth of the friendships we forge in our youth.
She also started a GoFundMe to raise money for Hurricanes Irma and Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico. She talks about her motivation for starting the page in this video. Donations can be made here. She’ll also be playing the Tidal X Benefit show on October 17th.
