Drake Wins Favorite Hip Hop Artist at American Music Awards

Drake took home the award for Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Artist at the American Music Awards last night. The Boy was nominated with Kendrick Lamar and Migos.

The AMAs award is another win under Drizzy’s belt for the year. His latest project More Life broke the single-day streaming record on Spotify. He revived British series Top Boy which is stars in and executive produces, and he’s slate to drop new music anytime now. No wonder people hate him.

Chance The Rapper gave Drake a shout out on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and took the time out to call out the people who are 6 God fans on the low.

I think we live in a time where people are ashamed to say how much they love Drake or enjoy what he does. I’m totally rebelling against that. I just want to say shout out to Drake and your whole team.

The Canadian rapper has dominated the year, and he’s probably planning to do the same next year with his forthcoming release.
