Jacksonville, Florida rapper Yungeen Ace was the target in a shooting in Georgia over the weekend, which left one of his friends dead.

Ace, whose real name is Kenyanta Bullard, along with three of his associates, were ambushed by three gunmen at a Hampton Inn hotel in Waycross, Georgia. After the shots ceased, Ace’s friend Jeremy Brookins of Jacksonville was found dead.

Ace just released a song ironically entitled “Murder Rate Rising.”

Ace’s career has been riddled with problems surrounding gun violence. He was recently jailed for a probation violation after he popped up at a local mall where his younger brother and two of his friends were gunned down.
