Two of Hip-Hop’s biggest stars reached a billi while behind bars in 2019.
Tekashi 6ix9ine and YNW Melly have both been streamed a billion times on Spotify, which was reviewed at the end of the year and posted on DJ Akademiks IG page. Tekashi held it down with 61 million listeners while Melly had 40 million.
Some of the other top Spotify streamers include Trippie Redd, Tyga, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, 21 Savage, XXXTentecion, Megan Thee Stallion and Post Malone respectively.
