Last night, Diggy Simmons unveiled his debut album Unexpected Arrival to a room full of journalists, industry tastemakers, and record executives. The private listening session was hosted by Atlantic Records and held at Tribeca Cinemas in downtown NYC.
With the twittersphere being inundated with tweets from the so-called “in-crowd” about Diggy’s new music, the response to his first album was mostly positive—though many acknowledged that the music was more geared towards Diggy’s own age group than the age of a “tastemaker.”
