In one of the most bizarre stories this decade, G-Dep will stand trial on murder charges this week. The former Bad Boy Records MC confessed to a murder of 32-year-old John Henkel from 1993 on December 15, 2010.
Now in the second week of April of 2012 G-Dep is facing 25 years to life if convicted. G-Dep is expected to plead not guilty despite giving a confession in 2010. According to the Washington Post, G-Dep’s attorney Anthony L. Ricco will ask jurors “to scrutinize the confession through the prism of a person racked by extended PCP use.”
