It was an overcast night both inside and outside NYC’s S.0.B’s. A few solid opening acts with the likes of Nemo Achida, Iron Solomon and CurT@!n$ warmed up the crowd for the main attraction. Hot 97 and Heineken presented the performance with Peter Rosenberg holding down the hosting duties backed by DJ Quiz on the ones and twos.

Roughly after 10:50 ScHoolBoy Q approached the stage like a prize fighter would do in Boxing’s peek era. Hitting the stage and bringing a large cloud of smoke with him mainly from his fanatic fans upfront. Photographers flashes snapping away Q ran through cuts from his 2012 standout project Habbits N Contradictions.

Midway through calling fellow TDE and Black Hiipy member Kendrick Lamar live and direct. Sans Kendrick Lamar, Q performed “A.D.H.D.” and “Blessed.” Closing the night out with “Hands on The Wheel,” which Q crushed a running rumor that A$AP Rocky would join him. With an abrupt end to the song Q leaped into the crowd for the second time and literally exited the venue with a few associates in hot pursuit.

Nearly just 6 months after Kendrick had killed the same stage with the same demeanor, it is quite evident what this TDE camp is capable. Who said NYC was always stoned face, look ScHoolBoy there he go!
