Along with many other athletes the New York Knicks have been huge supporters of Trayvon Martin, most outspokenly Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony. Both have posted pictures in hoodies in support of Trayvon Martin and Amare continues to always wear his hoodie when seen at warmups and shootarounds.
The New York Knicks arranged for Trayvon Martin’s family to come and meet with the players after their game against the Washington Wizards. Carmelo Anthony uploaded two pictures to his twitter account with Martin’s mom and brother in the Knicks locker room post game. His profile picture has been him in a hoodie for about a month now after finding out about the tragic story.
