Earl Sweatshirt popped back up in the Hip-Hop circle recently and is now set to make an impact. According to the NY Times Earl Sweatshirt will control his own destiny with his imprint, Tan Cressida, which will be distributed through Columbia Records.

The option of signing to Columbia allowed him to remain in tact alongside his OFWGKTA comrades with Sony. This allows the branding of OFWGKTA to continue with future ventures of Earl’s.

He also mentioned plans to do a joint album with Tyler, The Creator. Closing the interview out on an interesting statement with, “I just treat everything like that… If I don’t do this right now, if I don’t take this risk, I’ll never get this day back again.”
