Oklahoma City Thunder Take 3-2 WCF Series Lead

TheSource.Com

After a less than stellar first half the Spurs came out in the second half swinging, and it was their second half play that made you think this series may just come down to who has home court last. That was not the case as the Thunder picked up the first road win out of both teams in the series. Starting at the 3:12 mark in the 4th quarter the Thunder started doing everything in their power not to win the game, turnovers, and bad shots plagued the final minutes for them as their lead slowly became a 2 point lead with .50 seconds left. Then at the .28 second mark James Harden hit a dagger of a three-pointer to all but seal the win. As the Spurs couldn’t capitalize on a late turnover that gave them more chance to tie the game, Kevin Durant then hit 2 free throws to finally put the game in the books. The Thunder took a 3-2 series lead with a 108-103 win. Kevin Durant finished with 27pts, 4 rebs, and 5 ast for the Thunder and Manu Ginobili led the Spurs with 34pts, 6reb, 7ast for the Spurs. Game 6 is on Wednesday at 9:00 PM ET on TNT.
