I don’t make a habit of studying the quality of America’s reservoir’s or nothin’ like that but it’s been said that New York has among the purist tap water in the country. And while Queens-bred emcee T.Shirt has been known to have no filter on the mic, his latest leak “NY Tap Water” is compiled of rhymes that those raised in the Rotten Apple would well suited for consumption.
Shirt delivers for the hometeam with lines like “Student of Biggie / Kicked doors down, and look at me now / doin’ my Diddy,” and “We fightin like the New York Knicks, for them two door whips” over a some Rotten Apple-centric production that makes use of a Miles Davis sample courtesy of Goodson. “NY Tap Water” is the first flow from Shirt off of his upcoming RICH HOURS project, which will be his first for sale body of work. The album will retail for a mere $3 in order to fund future music making endeavors.
