Its been 7 years since the last time Manny Pacquiao has lost a fight, last night Pacquiao lost to Timothy Bradley in a controversial split decision call by the judges. It seemed as if Pacquiao was going to win, but then two judges decided in Bradley’s favor. A stunned MGM Grand erupted in boos, Bob Arum who was the promoter of the fight and who handles both combatants said there will be a rematch in November. Bradley won five of the last six rounds, but Pacquiao was +82 in punches landed for the match. It may be a different sport, but the message is all the same as the UFC’s Dana White says “finish the fight, never leave it in the judges hands.” This is a prime example of that saying, once again these two will be fighting again in November. In the grand scheme of things it will interesting how this will affect the pipe dream of a Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight that everyone has been clamoring for. Below twitter reacts to the fight.
