Lauryn Hill pled guilty to charges of failing to file tax returns in 2005, 2006, and 2007. The herald artist now will await to find out her faith as the former Fugees singer faces up to 3 years in prison.
According to TMZ, “when the judge asked if Hill “intentionally and willingly” failed to file the returns, she replied, “Yes.” On top of possible jail time Hill also faces upwards of $75,000 in fines.
Her hearing is slated for Novemeber.
