Earlier in the week, we reported that The Roots’ drummer ?uestlove dropped a bomb on his Okayplayer forum, revealing that a second half to his The 20/20 Experience album, dropping today, would be released later this year. Though the rumors seemed to be too good to be true, at his album release party in California at the El Rey theater, Timberlake himself confirmed it, saying “I gotta clear a rumor up. This whole thing about this being the first half of the album is true”. As if the 10 movie-like tracks set forth by him and partner in crime Timbaland weren’t enough, chancers are by the end of next year our ears will get to experience it all over again.
