Sparks set to fly with some brand new music.

Music’s jack-of-all-trades is set to make some noise this year with a brand new project. During a visit to BET’s 106 & Park, Clinton Sparks took some time out to preview some upcoming tunes with TheSource.com.

Sparks single will be the latest in a line of tunes paying tribute to the “Gold” resurgence in Hip-Hop… even though it never went anywhere. So move over Trinidad James because Clinton Sparks is getting ready to release his single “Gold Rush” featuring Rick Ross and get ready… Macklemore. Now on paper the trio may not seem like the likely equation for a radio-friendly song. Don’t worry… leave that to Clinton Sparks. The cut is an approach Ross hasn’t taken since “We Taking Over,” but this adds dance elements for clubs of all settings. The track will fit well with the radio-persona Macklemore has developed with “Thrift Shop” and his next single, “Can’t Hold Us.” Not to mention a bridge from DA of Star Trak Entertainment’s Chester French.

Aside from the single a remix is on the way featuring Diddy and a surprise guest… you know it’s only right to incorporate Mr. Remix. Another track Clinton played for TheSource.com was an untitled cut with T.I. The track consists of elements that Tip fans haven’t heard since “Whatever You Like,” with touches of his “N****s In Paris” remix.

One things for sure there is plenty of great uptempo music to break of the monotony of todays sounds. Get ready!
