Chris Paul In The Clutch
Did you think it was going to be any different this year? Last year when the Clippers and Grizzlies faced off in the playoffs it was a good ole’ physical playoff series with this year being no different.
With 2:35 left in the game the Clippers and Grizzlies traded baskets until Darrell Arthur hit a jumper and scored three points the old-fashioned way with an and-1 to tie the game up. The Clippers scored and got a stop to keep the lead at 2 but they couldn’t capitalize, Paul ended up giving the Grizzlies the ball back via a jumpball.The Grizzlies made the Clippers pay with a uncontested Marc Gasol dunk to tie it back up at 91 a piece.
Making up for his mistake Chris Paul hit this game winner as time expired to send his club in to Memphis with a 2-0 lead in the series.
