Sha Money XL becomes Executive Vice President of Urban A&R at Epic Records.
After serving as the Senior Vice President of A&R at Island Def Jam for three years, Sha Money XL has parted ways with Def Jam and signs on as the Executive Vice President of Urban A&R at Epic Records.
Sha Money’s highly successful career dates back to bringing 50 Cent to the mainstream level and becoming President of G-Unit Records until 2007 as well as producing a slew of tracks for the likes of Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Juvenile, Scarface and more. His success didn’t stop there as he executive produced Big K.R.I.T.’ debut album and signed 2 Chainz to Def Jam in 2012.
Sha Money XL said the following in his statement regarding the move, “As I embark on this new Epic journey. I have a great vision for what the new record industry should be like, the music, the experience and lifestyle.”
