Vic Mensa, non-biological brother to Chance The Rapper & former frontman for cutting edge rap-rock group Kids These Days, is making his arrival to prominence as smoothly as one could imagine. With “Did It B4” & “Orange Soda” already on most publications’ short-list of 2013’s best underground releases, the Save Money crew member returns with the tranquil, serene and captivating “Hollywood, LA”, produced by Cam of J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. Despite this summer being stuffed to the brim with mainstream releases, Chicago’s younger frontier looks extremely promising, and Vic has a lot to do with it. Enjoy Mensa’s new sounds, and prepare for INNANETAPE this summer (hopefully).
