The first time we all heard “Black Skinhead”, reactions were mixed. The Saturday Night Live performance of the Daft Punk-produced Yeezus track was complicated and passionate, but most definitely way left of anything we’d heard from ‘Ye ever. Being a part of the process of the creation of the album was different however, and Scott’s reaction to hearing the cut for the first time was filled with much more excitement.

When ‘Ye opened up that Maybach laptop and hit play on “Black Skinhead”, I jumped off the stairs onto the couch. I was going HAM. That was when I heard the “na na na na” part for the first time, I lost my fucking mind. That’s some soccer anthem-type shit.
