Tech N9ne releases a new song from his July 30th release: Something Else. He has already revealed features from Kendrick Lamar, ¡Mayday!, Kendall Morgan, Snow Tha Product, Wrekonize, Wiz Khalifa, and B.o.B. If you thought the talent on his album couldn’t be anymore stacked; you were mistaken. His latest offering-“That’s My Kid”-includes a verse from both Big K.R.I.T. and Kutt Calhoun as well as a hook song by the one and only Cee-Lo Green.
Tech and co. all rhyme about children and their futures. All of the emcees express their optimism in their kids ability to do better than they have done. It is a heartfelt song, in the same vein as Nas’ “Daughters.” Tech continues to impress, as do all of his friends. You can check out the song above.
