It’s Tha Universe
The relationship, whether encouraging or not, between rappers and alcohol brands is not a new one-Jay Z & Cristal, 1800 Tequila & Rick Ross, Nuvo & Fat Joe, etc. For Jeezy, becoming the Multicultural Advisor for the tequila maker, Avión, was as easy as shouting them out in the first two lines of “Liar“ off of his last mixtape, It’s Tha World. It’s pretty clear that this position will entail touring the world and going on extravagant vacations with barrels of the stuff so other “Multicultural Advisors” and their posses can peep the logo. But as with any hustler, Jeezy will probably not be content with just being international. He may just break out of this atmosphere and venture into the last frontier as Avión’s Interplanetary Advisor. And what better way to document those adventures than with a new album titled It’s Tha Universe.
