Calvin Klein Collection To Provide Drake’s Tour Wardrobe

drake-2011-600x453Italo Zucchelli, the Men’s Creative Director at Calvin Klein, is the man behind the “Would You Like a Tour?” wardrobe. Several looks were selected from Calvin Klein’s Spring 2014 collection then re-purposed specifically for Drake. Zucchelli organized the garments into three capsules: blue-sky, sporty/modern, and denim. The patterns on the blue-sky tee (and even a custom zip-up hoodie) are exact replications of the background on Drake’s Nothing Was the Same cover. As for the denim, according to Zucchelli, most of its inspiration comes from vintage photos of Marky Mark.

“I wanted the whole wardrobe to look clean, sharp, and modern,” Zucchelli said in an interview with Billboard. “It all started with a conversation about Drake’s new album cover featuring him and a blue sky with clouds in the background.”

Drake performs “Would You Like a Tour?” in custom designs such as those blue-sky shirts and hoodies, as well as a white reflective tracksuit, a light blue denim hooded shirt (with matching tank and pants), and even a pair of glow-in-the-dark pants. If a custom Calvin Klein wardrobe isn’t clean, sharp, and modern, then what is?
