Is New York hip-hop back?
Papoose has been hitting the studio hardbody. Since recently dropping Hoodie Season, the New York rapper is getting ready to drop his next installment of his new mixtape series. Pap taps into the past with a very familiar sample on the first leak off the tape “Overpass”.
Pap goes in on the beat that mixes in the sample of Suzanne Vega’s “Tom’s Diner” with that smooth NY sound. As of now, there has been no confirmed release date for the project. But, by the sound of this joint, the mixtape sounds promising as the rapper puts in work to bring back the original New York Hip-Hop.
