Good Morning America Anchor Robin Roberts Officially Comes Out.
As 2013 closes out, Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts announced that she is gay. This came after she posted a message on her Facebook account.
Robin has been dating her longtime girlfriend Amber Laign for the past 10 years. Laign accompanied her to the 2013 ESPY Awards.
News reports reveal that Ms. Laign is a massage therapist and they met through a mutual friend. The announcement has received over 60k likes on Roberts’ Facebook page.
Here is the announcement that she posted on her Facebook account,
“I am grateful for my entire family, my long time girlfriend, Amber, and friends as we prepare to celebrate a glorious new year together. I am grateful for the many prayers and well wishes for my recovery. I return every one of them to you 100 fold.”
