Lee Daniel’s The ButlerLee Daniels’s The Butler has all the makings of a movie that on paper would be a real contender to not just be nominated for an Oscar, but really have a chance at winning. Unfortunately a lot of insiders are worried its chances may be slimmer than first expected thanks to it being so directly and really unfairly compared to 12 Years a slave. Another factor that worries the predictors is it’s seeming snubbing at the Golden Globes, but like mentioned earlier that’s not always the end all be all when it comes to the moves made by The Academy.
