6. “The Shot”

It was 1989 and Game 5 of the Eastern Conference First Round with the Chicago Bulls against the Cleveland Cavaliers.  The Cavs had 100-99 lead with three seconds left.  Jordan hits a shot over Craig Ehlo at the buzzer giving the Bulls the 101-100 win.  The Bulls won the game and the series.  Ehlo fell to the floor and Jordan’s emphatic leap in the air to celebrate became another iconic image.
