7. 43 Points at 40 Years Old
Most people have blocked out Michael Jordan’s time with the Washington Wizards but it wasn’t all bad. In 2003 in a game against the New Jersey Nets, Jordan scored 43 points in 43 minutes. He became the first player in NBA history to score 40 or more points at 40 years old. I’m going all out. It’s the end of my career, and I don’t want to see it end in a negative way. I want to see it end positive. I want to have fun,” Jordan said. It was also his 173rd 40-point game.
