8. “The Shrug” Game

Another iconic moment was the Michael Jordan shrug.  It originated in 1992 during game 1 of the NBA Finals with the Chicago Bulls against the Portland Trailblazers.  While Jordan had an arsenal of moves and abilities, three-point shooting wasn’t that high on the list until that night.  He hit six three-pointers in the first half and after the last one he did the iconic shrug.  His 35 points in the first half also set an NBA record.  The Bulls went on to win the game 122-89 and secured their second NBA Championship title beating the Trailblazers 4-2 games.
