Right now the hip-hop scene in T.O. is catching the ears of many people around the globe. After a thorough survey of artists that are on the come up, we find a short list of dope creative minds (some more known than others) carving out the new Toronto sound.
Noah “40” Shebib: His rise from being just an engineer for Drake to becoming an elite producer in the Hip-Hop industry is no mystery. Responsible for crafting Drizzy’s signature sound, he is known for his downtempo, ambient style of production that began in So Far Gone. Ontario-born and raised, he is a songwriter, producer, and co-founder of October’s Very Own Sound label. He is easily going down in the history of great producers that emerged from the Canadian Hip-Hop scene as he remains busy recently producing for Beyonce on her latest album.
