WondaGurl: The young hometown star known for producing the Magna Carta Holy Grail gem “Crown” on Jay Z’s 12th solo album, the budding beatmaker is now in high demand. She is making a name for herself after defeating 32 aspiring producers to win the 2012 Battle of Beatmakers challenge held here in Toronto. She is the youngest producer to have a credit on a platinum-selling hip-hop album in America. Along with everything else going on she was on Boi-1da’s Toronto team that went to SXSW to participate in the beat battle-championship. She was also the force behind Travis Scott’s summer banger “Uptown” featuring A$AP Ferg. When it comes to hometown support yes, she got that. With many good years ahead of her we can expect more bangers from the young producer.
